Our Auckland office is located in Manukau City with staff who work with Pacific communities to ensure there is good awareness of current government policies and programmes.

Our staff constantly engage with the diverse Pacific population in the region, and this allows for community input into government policy as it is developed.

Auckland Pacific Strategy

The Auckland office works to implement the 'Auckland Pacific Strategy' (PDF) which was developed in late 2009 after extensive discussion with key Pacific leaders.

Five strategic priorities were determined. They are to:

Our newsletter

To ensure communications between government and the Pacific community the Auckland office compiles a weekly email update.

Our weekly newsletter keeps you up to date with what is happening in the Pacific community by listing events, important information and announcements from both central and local government.

Pacific community organisations can also use this newsletter to publicise events.  It is distributed to our large and growing database of Pacific people.
