Boards
Specialised skills and experience are required for different types of boards and committees such as commercial, quasi judicial, professional, and community. These can be:
State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) such as the NZ Lotteries Commission, TVNZ, Meridian Energy and Crown Research Institutes (CRIs) such as the Instituteof Environmental Science and Research
The Advertising Standards Complaints Board, Copyright Tribunal and the Human Rights Review Tribunal;
The Nursing Council of New Zealand, Engineering Associates Registration Board and the Housing New Zealand Corporation;
National Pacific Radio Trust, Community Trusts and Lottery Distribution Committees.
