Corporate Services Directorate

Members of this directorate are responsible for ensuring that all the Ministry’s statutory and financial management obligations are met.  They provide a range of formal reporting, accountancy, administration, human resources, asset management, and information technology advice and support to the Ministry. 

Our corporate services include a governance unit which oversees the planning, reporting and accountability functions for the Ministry (for instance, preparing our Statement of Intent for publication and tabling in Parliament).  The unit provides Ministerial services (such as preparing weekly reports, allocating draft speeches, Official Information Act requests and briefings), and administers the Minister’s Advisory Council. 

The Corporate Services Directorate is based in our Wellington office.
