One of New Zealand’s most widely used languages, Samoan, is in the spotlight this week as Vaiaso o le Gagana Sāmoa − Samoan Language Week kicks off. This year also marks the 50th anniversary of Samoan Independence Day (1 June) and the signing of the 1962 Treaty of Friendship, a unique agreement between Samoa and New Zealand.
Here are some handy resources for you to download to encourage the use of Samoan in your workplace, school or home.
