Scholarship payment

Toloa Tertiary Scholarship Recipients are awarded up to a maximum of $10,000 excluding GST for the academic year. An invoice from your Tertiary Provider will be required for your course of study, and funds will be paid directly to your tertiary provider for that invoice. You may choose to send an invoice for your full academic year or to invoice at the start of each semester.

Toloa Tertiary Scholarship Recipients may use their funds on compulsory course fees for their approved STEAM study program and accommodation costs at a New Zealand university halls of residence. Scholarship monies are NOT to be used for a new device or equipment.

Change of details

You will only need to notify the Toloa team if you change your program of study.

You must notify BOTH your scholarships advisor/office and the Toloa team that you are changing your program of study (including major / minor subjects).

If you change programs or papers, this may mean a change in the fees paid using your Toloa Scholarship Funds. Therefore, you must notify BOTH your scholarships advisor/office and Toloa who will notify you of the process ahead.

To notify the Toloa funding team, email them via [email protected].

Remember that you need to be taking a STEAM-related program full-time to remain eligible for a Toloa Tertiary Scholarship.

If any of your personal details change or you are moving homes, please notify the Toloa team by emailing [email protected] as soon as possible.
