The Pacific Housing Feasibility Support Service

Registration of Interest

The Pacific Housing Feasibility Support Service is part of the Ministry’s Pacific Housing Initiative.

The Ministry for Pacific Peoples is seeking registrations of interest from Pacific churches and other organisations to receive support to develop feasibility studies and business cases. The Pacific Housing Feasibility service will investigate opportunities to develop housing on land they own, or land they have identified that could be used as affordable housing for Pacific peoples.

Preference will be given to land holdings that have potential for housing at large scale in areas where there is demonstrated demand for affordable housing for the local Pacific community.

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be a Pacific church or other organisation who want to register their interest in receiving support to develop feasibility studies and business cases that investigate opportunities to develop housing on land you own, or land you have identified that could be used as affordable housing for Pacific peoples.
  • Be able to show your organisation’s ownership of the land, or availability of funding to purchase the land to be the subject of feasibility studies or business cases for housing development.
  • Be able to evidence that your organisation has committed to the decision to use the subject land, or acquire the subject land for affordable housing development for Pacific peoples.
