We work with the Ministry for Culture and Heritage on the Dawn Raids Historical Account Package. There have also been a number of goodwill gestures from other government agencies.
Manatū Taonga Ministry for Culture and Heritage (MCH) has created a digital hub dedicated to sharing the lived experiences of Pacific communities in Aotearoa, with a focus on the Dawn Raids. The hub brings together historical context, personal stories, and resources to support learning, reflection, and talanoa within and beyond Pacific communities.

Other government agencies have provided goodwill gestures. The Ministry of Education’s Tulī takes Flight scholarships were announced in 2021 and have continued each year since. The Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Trade delivered the He Manawa Tītī international Pacific scholarships to increase leadership knowledge and skills for emerging Pacific leaders in the public, private and voluntary sectors. Creative New Zealand, with funding from the Ministry for Culture and Heritage and New Zealand on Air, has provided $1.9m worth of Niu Dawn Raids Grants.
